Qualification/Who Can Apply:

Age Limit:
18–33 years (Relaxations are available for certain categories like SC/ST, OBC, etc.).
Exam Pattern:
The exam is usually in two phases:
- CBT (Computer Based Test):
- Sections: General Awareness, Mathematics, General Science, and Reasoning.
- Duration: Typically 90 minutes.
- Number of Questions: Around 100.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
After qualifying the CBT, candidates are required to appear for a Physical Efficiency Test based on the post they applied for.
Syllabus:
- Mathematics : Simple calculations, Number system, Time & Work, Percentage, Profit & Loss, etc.
- General Awareness: Current affairs, Geography, Economy, History, etc.
- General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (10th grade level).
- Reasoning: Analytical ability, Verbal & Non-verbal reasoning.
Selection Process:
- CBT : First, candidates must clear the written exam.
- PET : Those who qualify the CBT will be called for the PET.
- Document Verification : After clearing the PET, candidates are verified based on their original documents.
- Final Merit List : Candidates are selected based on their overall performance in the exam and PET.
