Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service, App Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, and Virtual Networks.
- System Monitoring: Perform regular system monitoring, uptime and connectivity checks, backups, and maintenance of Azure infrastructure.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on services.
- Cost Management: Monitor and optimize Azure cloud costs by identifying inefficiencies, right-sizing resources, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions and maintain clear documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and incident responses.
- Automation & Scripting: Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps. Write and maintain PowerShell, Python, or other scripts to automate routine tasks.
- Cloud Architecture & Design: Collaborate with the architecture team to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
Qualification:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage).
- Skills: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and/or ARM templates.
