Job Description:

The Technician position at CSIR-CLRI involves performing various technical tasks related to leather research, laboratory support, and maintenance of equipment and machinery. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Laboratory Support:

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Essential:
      • Candidates should have passed 10th grade or equivalent from a recognized board.
      • Technical Qualifications:
        • A Diploma in Engineering or Technology in a relevant field (such as Leather Technology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from a recognized institution. Alternatively, a Certificate Course in the relevant field from a recognized institution may also be considered.
  • Age Limit:
    • Candidates should be between 18 to 28 years of age. Age relaxations may apply according to government norms for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
  • Experience (Desirable):
    • Previous experience in laboratory work, maintenance of technical equipment, or research support is desirable.
