Openings For District Child Protection Unit

The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) Chittoor is recruiting for three positions: Counsellor, Outreach Worker, and Part-Time Doctor, with one opening for each role. The recruitment is part of their efforts to strengthen child protection services in the region.

Counsellor (1 Position)

Outreach Worker (1 Position)

Part-Time Doctor (1 Position)

Counsellor:

  • Educational Qualification:
    A graduate degree in any discipline, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in counselling or a related field.
  • Age Limit:
    Minimum: 25 years, Maximum: 42 years
  • Salary:
    ₹18,536 per month
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Provide psychological counselling to children and families.
    • Offer guidance to children in need, including those in foster care, and children rescued from difficult circumstances.

Outreach Worker:

Educational Qualification:
A 12th-grade pass (Intermediate) is required.Age Limit:
Minimum: 25 years, Maximum: 42 yearsSalary:
₹10,592 per monthJob Responsibilities:

  • Conduct community outreach and awareness programs.
  • Work to raise awareness about child rights and protection issues.
  • Identify vulnerable children and families and assist them in accessing services.

Part-time Doctor:

Educational Qualification:
MBBS degree from a recognized institution.

Age Limit:
Minimum: 25 years, Maximum: 42 years

Salary:
₹9,930 per Month

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care and support to children in the care of the child protection unit.
  • Offer health assessments and treatment, ensuring timely medical attention for children in need.

General Qualification:

All candidates must possess good communication skills and be compassionate toward children in need.
