Position: Civil Judge (Junior Division)

Job Responsibilities:
Judicial Functions:
- Adjudicate civil and criminal cases within the jurisdiction.
- Interpret and apply laws, statutes, and legal precedents.
- Ensure fair and impartial trials while upholding legal procedures.
Case Management:
- Conduct hearings and record statements from witnesses and parties involved.
- Issue judgments, orders, and decrees based on legal merits.
- Maintain court records and case documentation accurately.
Legal Research & Analysis:
- Study legal provisions, previous rulings, and case laws.
- Provide legal opinions on various matters.
Supervisory & Administrative Duties:
Ensure the proper implementation of judicial reforms.
Supervise the work of court staff and ensure smooth functioning.
Handle procedural matters related to case management.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
Age Limit:
- Direct Recruitment: Max 35 years (as of 01-02-2025).
- Recruitment by Transfer: Max 48 years (as of 01-02-2025).
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Experience (For Recruitment by Transfer):
- Should be working as a judicial officer or in a related legal position in the state government.

Written Examination – Descriptive Type
Viva-Voce (Interview)
Salary & Benefits:
Pay Scale: ₹77,840 – ₹1,36,520 per month
