- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering or any branch of Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks
- OR a Master’s Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety/HSE with a minimum of 60% marks
- Experience: Minimum of 9 years of post-qualification work experience, with at least 4 years in Offshore HSE

Key Responsibilities:
HSE Management: Oversee the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all engineering designs and operations adhere to industry regulations and safety standards.
Project Oversight: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project completion, ensuring technical precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting continuous improvement and innovation in HSE practices.
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into HSE incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Training and Development: Conduct HSE training sessions for staff to enhance awareness and compliance across all levels of the organization.
Qualification & Experience:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering or Fire Engineering (minimum 4 years) with at least 65% marks.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree in any Engineering discipline (minimum 4 years) combined with a Master’s Degree/Diploma in Industrial Safety/HSE (minimum 2 years) with at least 60% marks.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 9 years of post-qualification experience in handling HSE issues within the Oil and Gas industry.
- At least 4 years of this experience must be in offshore HSE roles.
Desirable Certifications:
- International Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Operational Safety (IOG) or International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (IGC) from NEBOSH.
- Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification under ISO 45001:2018.
- BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training).
- Helicopter Underwater Escape and Sea Survival Training (HUET).
