Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed 12th Standard (Higher Secondary) or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
Typing & Shorthand Skills:
Shorthand Speed: Minimum 80 words per minute (wpm) in English/Hindi.
Typing Speed: Minimum 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi) on a computer.
Work Experience (For Stenographer Grade-I – Deputation Basis):
Candidates should be currently working as Stenographers under the Central Government and:
Holding an equivalent post in the same grade on a regular basis, OR
Having 10 years of regular service in Stenographer Grade-II (Pay Level-4, ₹25,500 – ₹81,100).
Age Limit:
Maximum age limit: 56 years (as per government deputation rules).
Salary & Pay Scale:
Level-6 in the pay matrix (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) as per 7th CPC Pay Scale.
